At the Work Skills Training Center for Youth, Inc., we believe that every student possesses the potential for meaningful employment and a self-sufficient future.

Located in the heart of Goshen, our center provides 8th-12th grade students with a unique environment where traditional education is transformed into tangible life skills.

Our mission is to provide high-quality Career and Technical Education through hands-on, Work-Based Learning experiences. We aren’t just teaching tasks; we are building careers.

By following the 21st Century Workplace Readiness Skills curriculum, we ensure that every student leaves our program with the confidence, certifications, and work-readiness skills needed to thrive in their local community.

Meet the Founder

I am Nicole Wyant, the founder of the Work Skills Training Center for Youth Incorporated. My journey into establishing this center began with a deep-rooted passion for supporting students who learn differently. With over 17 years of experience in special education and a specialist certification in Autism Spectrum Disorders, I have spent my career witnessing the incredible strengths of my students, and the significant gaps they face when transitioning from high school to adulthood.

I founded this center to be a bridge. By combining my background in specialized instruction with a passion for community-integrated learning, I am committed to ensuring that youth in Rockbridge, Bath, and surrounding counties have access to the specialized support they deserve. My goal is to empower our students to become the next generation of confident employees, entrepreneurs, and community members.
